This project is a result of a photographic immersion inside at one of the biggest and most iconic illegal occupations in São Paulo, Brazil. A visual diary of a experience which we registered the social, urban and migratory crises reflections that affects the biggest metropolis in Latin-America.Almost for a year, we have followed the daily-life> inside of this 12 floors giant. A place that became a modern Babel Tower where almost 3 thousand people used to live, most of them immigrants and Brazilians from all regions searching for the better opportunities and life quality at one of the richest and most expensive cities worldwide.
Those are the lasts registers of a place discarded by the society, taken by people neglected by the authorities, whom have in illegally occupying their only chance of housing rights.
A project made at Gringo Collective in assossiation with Gabi di Bella.
